Amber M. of The Bad Girls Club Season 3 talks anger management

Shannon Munford M.A. the owner of Daybreak Counseling Service chats with Amber M. of Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club Season 3 about the secret anger management class performed at the Bad Girls Club mansion.

Shannon:

Hi Amber,

Sorry about the Cardinals…I am a big time Kurt Warner fan.
Anyway I was wondering if you could share with me a few thoughts about what you thougt about the anger management session we had right after the fight. Do you think they were helpful? Why do you think the producers cut it out?

Amber:

Hi Shannon,

It’s all good. Yeah Kurt Warner is a good guy and I wish they would have won. They played a good game though. I am so glad they came back before they finally fell.

Honestly after the fight I was really angry to be in anger managment. I was frustrated because Kayla was drunk and making it all about herself. Although that probably was a good thing. I guess I got irritated when Kayla was talking about how that was the way she is and she wasn’t going to change. But then she agreed with everything you were telling us.

I wish it would’ve helped us in the house but things only got worse. We still acted like wild animals and didn’t take any of it to heart(I wish we would’ve) I guess the problem probably lies in us not asking to take the class but getting told to take it. When you don’t think you have a problem how are you going to really listen and internalize someone else trying to help you.

Each day in the house I got more and more angry and behaved worse and worse. I think all the girls in the house are guilty of that. In the end the producers helped us self-reflect and realize some of our issues and we didn’t end on a horrible note but we sure didn’t do it on our own.

I think the producers cut it out because they wanted the footage to look like Kayla left the night of the fight and because of me. They can’t show us in anger management the next day with Kayla because she would’ve already left. Maybe they didn’t show it because if they did we would all look like more of an ass because someone actually pointed out our bad behavior and we still acted like angry bitches.

What do you think?

Shannon:

I think sometimes watching people hurt makes better T.V. than watching people heal.
